Stephanie graduated from Appalachian State University in 2016 with a self-designed Human Services degree and a minor in Social Work. Since then, Stephanie has worked in the IDD world in North Carolina, Vermont, and Washington in a variety of roles. Stephanie moved back to North Carolina in April 2020 and joined the TDAS family for the first time as a Community Navigator, and then as a Qualified Professional in the Support Services department. Stephanie completed a certificate in Project Management in 2022 and accepted a role working in End Stage Renal Disease quality improvement. After 3 years of service, Stephanie is back at TDAS after realizing that remote work isn’t for her, and that she needs face-to-face engagement to fulfill her. Stephanie is so pleased to be back with a team dedicated to enriching the lives of those with disabilities and their families. When she isn’t working, Stephanie can be found spending time with her husband, Evan, and her 2-year-old daughter, Avery. She enjoys playing the guitar, embroidery, and reading. She also enjoys spending time with her horses, Ducky and Jett, her dog Bennett, and her cats, Jack and Phoebe.
