Nekita Peatross is a native of Danville, VA. In 2000 she began her career working at Southern VA Mental Health Institute. She relocated to Graham, NC in 2012 to work as a house manager in the home of six participants with IDD. She has also worked one on one with several participants with Autism. She joined Triangle Disability and Autism Services in 2020 as a direct support professional and has provided a wide variety of services to participants, most of them as a job coach. Nekita was awarded Direct Support Professional of the Year in May of 2024 because of her dedication to our participants, her work ethic and advocacy skills. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, serving at her church and giving back to the community. Nekita is happy to be a part of the TDAS family, and looks forward to serving our families in this new role.
