Anna Banzhoff is from the beautiful small town of Black Mountain, North Carolina, and made her way East to attend UNC Chapel Hill. She graduated in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She has worked as a Direct Support Professional and spent the last year at the Building Abilities Center as Lead Staff for both the year-round Day Program and the Building Abilities Summer Experience. In this role, she built strong relationships, and she feels very passionately about helping to support individuals in whatever ways they might need. Excited by the opportunity to focus on helping to connect people with those supports, she transitioned to the role of support services supervisor. She is committed to autonomy, dignity, respect, and celebrating everyone for who they are. In her free time, she can be found on a long walk around the nearest body of water, reading at a coffee shop, or thrift shopping!
