DURHAM IS CELEBRATING DISABILITY PRIDE MONTH!

“Celebrating the vibrant disability community in Durham. Join us on July 25th, 2026, for a day of joy, visibility, and empowerment as we honor our collective journey and build a more inclusive future together. The parade will start later in the event to avoid peak heat, so feel free to bring your markers and other craft supplies to create your poster at the event, though materials to create a poster will be provided. Participants will gather near the front courtyard of Duke Memorial UMC. The parade will travel up and down W Chapel Hill St, from Gregson to S Duke St and back, on the Duke Memorial Campus side. This will also allow our participants with low mobility to also come out and display their signs with the group. This is a standing/walking/rolling parade only.  No vehicles or floats. Costumes, posters, banners, and noisemakers are welcome and encourage!”
