Fact: Our free social events bring everyone in our community together for socializing and friendship building. Whether it’s First Friday Fun Night or Party & Pics with Santa, you will always find a room full of smiling faces.
Blake’s Grandmother: “We realized pretty early on that seeing Santa at the mall was not going to be an option for our grandson who is autistic. So we attended Party & Pics with Santa not knowing if we would arrive and be leaving 5 minutes later. When I saw the professional photo of Blake sitting with Santa, I cried. I never thought we would have that experience. And it was great fun!”
You are supporting our BUILDING ABILITIES Summer Camp
Fact: Most summer camps do not allow children and teens with high needs (behavior, personal care, etc.). Our Building Abilities Summer Experience welcomed over 70 campers last summer who enjoyed an affordable and fun summer.
Ethan’s Dad: “My wife and I both work. Our son has complex needs in regards to his disabilities. He needs not only constant care, but to be in an environment where he is included and engaged. This camp came along at just the right time so our teenage son has a fun day, where his needs are met and we can go to work knowing he is being taken care of. Not sure what we would do without it.”
